Many think the jump over the Snake river was just a big con job. The news of his recent death is no doubt a passing of a era but he did not live the pristine life the news is protraying him. They left out the part where he beat someone senseless with a baseball bat back in the 70's.

He was an icon to all of us....We all wanted to be Evel Knievel when we we're kids. Bringing up someones past or the way they live is not going to change anything..... We all have something messed up in our past, Even me and you.
