In the later years did Paul or John not let his growing talent in The Beatles flourish?

  1. Well, it is pretty obvious to me. George didn't do too well on his own.


  2. I believe even George acknowledges that he only got 1 or 2 songs per LP.  And feels that although unintentional, he was still held back a bit.  After all it was the Lennon/McCartney songs that made the Beatles legends, so I guess maybe they were afraid to mess with a winning formula  

  3. My favorite was John's work.  I have to say, though, George did some really great work, and I thought he was always unfairly limited.  

    On the basis of artist, to me, John was first and George was second.   Look at his later work with the Traveling Willberys(sp).  What a Super Group they were.
