There were occultic elements in n**i symbols and cultural expressions.  The Swastika and Celtic elements such as Aryanism were taken from various occultic sources as well as other religions such as Hinduism and traditional European paganism.  He is also rumored to have been very influenced by astrology and delayed his assault on Paris by a month because the star signs weren't right.  I'm sure there is a degree of conjecture here, but there are numerous books on the subject.  The person who has written the most is Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke, but a simple visit to wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_mystic... will give you a list of the others.
