  1. Wiki is not that reliable you know.. because it is editable.

try sourcing out  to other website to know more about Hitler.. like about.com...

    Anyway.. he is not.

He becomes the Chancellor of Germany (he ran as a president but lost to vonHindenburg)

then the presidential decree gives him emergency powers, a  year after that , von Hindenburg died and Hitler become the supreme leader of Germany by assuming both the powers of President and Chancellor (with the title of Führer).

    He is really a history.

  2. Hindenburg was the President he wasn't replaced when he died

  3. He was elected Chancellor of Germany.

When did Wikipedia become a valid source of anything?????

  4. Sure. How he got the title or later ones is inconsequential.

  5. O_o??????????????????????

    I can't believe it!!!

  6. Weird errors like these are why most reputable schools won't let you cite Wikipedia as a source for research papers. Wikipedia might be an OK jumping-off point to start research (if you are aware that it often does contain errors), that web site is not an actual "encyclopedia".

  7. Not exactly, no.

  8. He was elected as Chancellor.  Later he consolidated the power of the Presidency into his own office and declared himself "Führer und Reichskanzler" which means leader and Chancellor.  Then, shortly after he just shortened it to leader or Führer.  He was never elected as a President but he assumed those powers as well as others.  He was a classical example of a dictator when he was done.
