Question:

Was I wrong or did this guy overreact?

I was talking to this lady on the bus yesterday, coming from WalMart, & my friend & her "some-timing boyfriend" were there. When the conversation came up about little kids doing things that were done to them @ home & acting it out @ school, & I mentioned violence & child molestation, the guy went berzerk on me because he "thought" that I was going to tell the lady about him "supposedly" molesting his daughter. I didn't mention names, & neither did I point any fingers.

After he verbally went off on me, my friend pulled him back because he tried to punch me in the face. I'm 24, she's 29, & he's 30. & my friend said, "How do you know that lady didn't think I was her sister & you were her brother since most people say we look alike & mistake us for siblings? Her friend could've been ANYBODY! Now, you made it KNOW that you MUST be guilty for molesting your daughter if you get outraged like that."

  1. You did nothing wrong.. I thought you were talking to this lady.. so how does your friend and her sometimes boyfriend get involved in that..  he has a big temper and anger issue that needs treatment.. and she made a big mistake by making his anger worse by telling him he must be guilty of molesting his daughter if the gets outraged like that.. those 2 both have problems.. she should have calmed him down or just defended you.. but not said that when he already had an anger issue.. and he.. needs a group therapy in anger management.. but he is more likely to hurt people physically instead of being a molester.. with his anger problem.. x

  2. I would say he overreacted big time since there wasn't any accusation anywhere in the conversation, nor was the idea of anyone being apart of this type of abuse presented.
