  1. Look at the alternative - in handcuffs on the front page.

  2. Everything that's going on with West Coast makes me wonder if it was a little more than wanting to just go home.  No I'm not suggesting he had a particular problem with Ben Cousins but perhaps Judd is getting away from the 'cultural issues' that have been mentioned a few times in the press.

He does strike me as level headed.

And I hate saying this but I do feel Carlton is only an attitude change away from being a good team.  Write their names, history, skills and draft picks down on paper and it always looks a decent team.

  3. Although I don't like Carlton his decision to go to a struggling club has increased my respect for him. I think it shows that he wants a challenge and isn't just after an easy ride to another flag.  It will also show exactly how good he is, after all it was easy for him to look good in a winning team.

  4. I think Chris Judds decision to go to Carlton was an exceptionally good idea looking at what has happened today with Ben Cousins and Daniel Chick both arrested, Judd is better off away from the WCE.

I think he probably wanted to get away from all of that ****!!

  5. A very good decision, Carlton needs to regain some wins next year to make the 8 and Chris Judd joining Carlton is a good thing for the Carlton footy club.

  6. He wanted a fresh start and Carlton have given him that chance. Considering when he went to the Eagles he based his training and approach to the game on the way Cousins approached training and his game.

Is it a good idea .......... after what has been happening over there, and the fact that Judd didn't want to be associated with what he's seen.  Even though I dont follow either team, I think its the right decision.

But alas ................. it's not our opinions that count, If Judd thinks its a good decision then thats all that matters.

  7. I definitely think so.  How hard would it be to keep up a positive attitude to the media and your fans in light of all the controversy at WC?

I know Judd stressed the move was only because he missed Melbourne and wanted to go home, but I really believe he had had enough of the "goldfish bowl" syndrome in Perth and I suspect he had had enough of the c**p going on at West Coast as well.

    Good choice Judd!

  8. I have to say as much as I dislike Carlton, I'm really glad Judd is there rather than at WC Eagles right now.

Judd doesn't deserve to be with a side that cannot stay out of the spotlight..for the wrong reasons.

    Best decision of his life!

  9. Well the reason he wanted to move was to be closer to his family (I dont believe he had a problem with cousins or anything like that) and so was it effective?

Is he closer to his family? Yes.

So I would say it was a good move.

Will he be any good at Carlton, and will they improve from last year?  Have to wait and see.

  10. as to playing for WCE

    YES

  11. Yes he is with a better club now WCE r c**p.

  12. was judds descision to leave west coast a good idea

    YES

maybe not to carlton, he woulda looked great in a bulldogs jumper :)

  13. no because he'll never play finals ever again

  14. We won't know until the show gets on the road in 2008.

I wonder if Judd will kick the footy to Fevola.Ha Ha.

Carlton could have a bit of a problem being team players for a while, until players settle in and get used to Ratten.

Judd will also need to cultivate his media presentation in a more articulate manner or the journo's will camp on his doorstep and give him h**l. He should lighten up a bit, especially as he is an elite footballer, which few can lay claim to. If Judd wants positive stories written about him, he would do well to put on a friendly face.
