I cheered when he showed us his black armband. Well done Jarno and Toyota. RIP Ove Anderson

With the greatest respect to Ove, and my commiserations to everyone at Toyota - I can't really think that Jarno decided - today I will get a podium so getting there is hardly a tribute.

If he could get a podium at will, he'd be doing it week in, week out.

Toyota were on the podium because the McLaren's were no where (no complaints from me about their penalties) and Trulli had a better race than Renault and Red Bull.

How many times did he just waft round in his renu when he could have pushed more ?

I think the Toyota team is a better place without Ralf S and this team has the funds to always be on the podium

Yes, Toyota would never entered F1 without Ove, a brilliant driver ( in rallying) in his own right, great result and a fitting tribute to the father of Toyota's motor sport involvement.

Jarno was my man of the race and its obvious the untimely death of Ove Andersson spurred Toyota on. He drove sublimely and the contented grin he had whilst the Italian anthem was playing said it all.
