  1. No. He's better off staying in Hamilton. He had to put up with too much drama in his later years with Edmonton.

  2. Yes, he was.  However, in December 2005 he was traded to the Hamilton Tiger Cats for a brief return of Danny McMannus (who turned around and went to Calgary).

  3. he should totally come back

  4. yeah

  5. He was the starter when Ricky Ray tried the NFL.  Ray didn't catch on permanently and returned after a year with the New York Jets.  Maas did well in his year and was definitely a star.  With Ray's return, the Eskies made a decision and traded Maas to Hamilton, likely for $ reasons.  I think he will have a better career in Hamilton than Edmonton as it doesn't look like Ray is going anywhere.  Being the starter for the Ticats is infinitley better than being a back up in Edmonton.

  6. He was their QB until he got traded to the Hamilton Tiger Cats. Should he return? I don't know about that. He wasn't that great with the ti-cats, and they really needed him to step up and be a star for them. Instead, he was pretty lack-lustre, and not of much help to them. They had a pretty poor season. I don't know if Edmonton would want him back after the season he had.

  7. Ricky Ray was (and is) the Esks star QB.  Maas was a very good backup, and was in line to replace Ray one day ... until the Eskies traded him away for almost nothing to Hamilton.
