Jesus was a giant hippie. He's the one who was running around with sandals and long hair urging us all to just get along. Had he crucified himself, he would've been the ultimate emo-kid. I can't really think of any religious figure who would qualify as emo. There are a few Buddhists who could qualify as goth, though. "Life is suffering."

Emo's weren't around till about 5 years ago, maybe 10 if you count the early stages.

I lived in a world before emos, and i'm not that old.
