Was John McCain's joke about Chelsea Clinton funny?

McCain said, "Why is Chelsea so ugly? Because Janet Reno is her father."

He made the joke when Chelsea was a teenager. As a father of teenage daughters, I can't someone making such a joke about my kids. What do you think?

Not funny at all.  There is absolutely no room for insulting someone's children/family members period in politics.  Anyhow, Chelsea turned out to be not so bad after all.  She is in good shape and I would date her over the out of shape rednecks we have roaming the red states.

Nobody has ever accused McCain of being diplomatic.  If the US didn't have the undisputed strongest military, I'd worry that he'd PO some countries enough to attack us.
