Yes!  She was the Prime Minister of the UK when Ronald Regan was the President in The US.  I actually got to shake her hand one.  She came to Baylor University to speak.  She appeared to be a real woman to me, however sometimes it is hard to tell.

What a neat question.

Yes, she was real.  However, I'm not surprised that there is that myth out there that "she" was a "he".  She sure behaved like a "he".  For example, why in the world did the British invade the Falklands under her leadership?  Me thinks she wanted to prove that she was as strong and as bellicose as any man.

I hope that the next female world leader does not feel the need to be "just like a man".
