Was Mary Queen of Scotts Related to William Wallace?

I haven't verified Tony's tracing of Mary Stuart's and William Wallace's kinship, but it sounds plausable since most Scots--if one looks back far enough--are relatives.  

Ancestry.com lists the following common relatives for both William Wallace and Mary Stuart:

Lucy Maud Montgomery (of Anne of "Green Gables" fame):

Mary 's 1st cousin, 6 times removed

William Wallace's 2nd cousin, 11 times removed

Margaret I of Denmark:

Mary 's 2nd cousin, 5 times removed

William Wallace's 5th cousin, 4 times removed

James Matthew Barrie (author of "Peter Pan"):

Mary's 4th cousin, 1 times removed

William Wallace's 7th great grandson

Robert Louis Stevenson (author of "Treasure Island"):

Mary's 1st cousin, 7 times removed

William Wallace's 2nd cousin, 12 times removed.

Mary Stuart is also related to Woodrow Wilson, Henry David Thoreau, Richard Nixon, George Ross, John Fremont, Davy Crockett, Issac Newton, Audrey Hepburn, Jane Austen, Agatha Christie, William Lamb, Robert Boyle, Mae West, Sir Walter Scott, and Laurence Oliver while William Wallace can claim kinship to William Faulkner, Alfred Tennyson, D. H. Lawrence, and Charles Lindbergh.

No.  She is not descended from him at all (please ignore the movie Braveheart in this).  I couldn't find any indication of who he might have married, so they could be connected by marriage (unlikely).

Believe it or not they were 6th cousins, 7 times removed.  I am serious  in other words, one's great (x6) grandparents were the others great (x7) grandparents.

Mary was House of Stuart - the Scottish royal family.

Wallace was an unrelated minor nobleman who came from the other side of the country.
