Governors (and Beauty Queens) are usually not considered for the VP position because they lack experience in Congress...

McCain's choice in Palin is genius.  She is a Washington outsider who has already proven in her own state that she does not tolerate corruptness.  Isn't that what Obama has been saying how he didn't want politics as usual and that Washington was broken and needed to be fixed?  It's genius that McCain chose a person of her caliber.
