It wasn't short. The teleprompter didn't break. She must have been great if that's the worst an Obama hater like you can say.

anyone else wonder how Brian ever got to be a "top contributor"?

He sounds like some of the pundits on FOX following her speech.

However in the real world, Michelle did fine in her speech. I didn't know that Brian and those at FOX had put a time limit on it.

After seeing this question and some of the responses, I would love for someone to explain to me how a group of people (many of whom claim they are Christians) can be so utterly filled with hate.

Brian its over now she said what needed to be said she made many goofs but it was short and it all done so the damage is minimal also it was a good choice for the Dem's to go on stage right after the olympics cause people are still high on the games and Bush goof with russia . f.p

No. It was because she had to say, "I love this country." They had to call EMS to come and revive her when she collapsed after she left the stage.

They had to keep her speech short,because there is a limited amount of time she can talk before she reflexively goes into a Hate-Filled Anti-American rant.They simply can't stop her.She probably beat the first person she saw backstage to death.Being cordial had to be really tough for her.

i think the speech was flawless- it wasnt short to me just right- i wouldnt want to hear a wife go on and on and on for a long time so i think it was the perfect balance

Michelle is very talented, and she didn't need a teleprompter. Her speech was short because, like Barack, the more she talks, the bigger the hole his campaign is in gets. It's so deep now he'll never get out, no matter what she does anyway.

The whole thing is laid out like a Hollywood script. Every word that comes out of anyones mouth at the DNC is written in the best possible way to draw on the publics emotions. The Republicans will do it too. They don't allow room for verbal errors that can be used against you. The ALL love the teleprompter.

these negative answers I read are proof that dopes exist.  She spoke passionately and probably spoke better than anyone we've ever listened to.  My sister and my girlfriend weeped while she spoke.  Full of energy and love.  I can't believe more than half of you guys didn't see it.  Teleprompter?  No teleprompter can do what she did.  Keep it real and confess...  Michelle Obama did a great job.
