  1. No, hands down it is Ali, had charisma to go with his boxing talents

  2. well hes the best heavyweight ever, when he was in his prime. ali would try the rope-a-dope on tyson and get his jaw taken off

  3. I think so, he mad boxing very entertaining, and to the Ali poster, Tyson might be a psycho, but at least he wasn't a draft dodger.

  4. cassius clay/muhamed ali would win this hands down as he was a gifted showman as well as world champion boxer

re being a draft dodger - it shows he also had a brain and was able to think for himself unlike a lot of sportspeople

  5. I think he was

  6. Those knockouts were entertaining as h**l. Classics...all of them.

  7. He is definitely up there, but no, you can make a case for Henry Armstrong, Aaron Pryor, Ray Leonard, even Marvin Hagler and Ray Robinson.

  8. cause he was so crazy when he fought

  9. Like all great punchers, and especially Tyson in his short prime, what made him exciting is you couldn't look away during his fights because could end at ANY SECOND, and often did.

So there was always tension and excitment in his fights. Even in the Douglas fight where Tyson was unraveling, one punch nearly ended Douglas work.

  10. he was very exciting for his time...but not of all time.....I'll say Julio Cesar Chavez was the best, but that's just my opinion....

  11. I think Arturo Gatti was voted most exciting fighter based on performance alone.  Personality-wise, Ali is widely considered the best combined with fighting ability but like I said raw performance/in-ring brutality Gatti since he rarely used defense in fights
