There weren't any larger German towns which weren't bombed during WW2.

  2. There were several locations bombed in Germany, sadly. One was Munich, Berlin, and many others. I am unsure of which ones not being bombed.

For instance, in the movie, The Pianist, it takes place in Potsdam, Germany, and that is another place that was destroyed by the war.

  3. As far as I know Heildelberg was not bombed and I am not 100% sure but I believe either was Wiesbaden.

  4. Not sure what you are getting at with the second part of your question, but yes, Munich was bombed extensively and unexploded bombs are still being found today on a regular basis. (http://tinyurl.com/3gjq8o)

I would suggest the website linked below for a very good comparison of then and now in relation to WW2 and the years preceding it. The site is factual and quite comprehensive in its coverage. For further reading, check out his links.

  5. All major cities where bombed. And the USA hasn't stopped bombing since. If they don't have a reason to bomb a country, the CIA will provoke one for Washington, its big business.
