Was Mussolini a good leader for the Italian people?

Mussolini caused much hurt for many people but he also improved many Italian's lives. Mussolini awarded the people who stood by him, yet they did not have the freedom we enjoy today. Mussolini was a dictator and those who opposed him found themselves at the hands of the Black Shirts, the men who patrolled Italy. Overall, Benito Mussolini was a good and strong leader but he made on huge mistake, which was aligining with Germany. By doing this, he lost many of his peoples' trust.
