  1. Did George "Dumbya" Bush only get into Yale because his rich daddy pulled strings?

  2. That's how he got the nomination.

  3. whats better how Barack made it or graduating in the bottom 5% of you class

    Obama'08

  4. Are you saying that Harvard can be bullied? Why don't you ask University officials, you'll get your answer.

  5. No, Obama was an exceptional student. Graduated with a perfect GPA at the top of his class...so no, better luck next time!!

  6. You have no idea how a law review works, do you?  You're admitted by a process which includes first-year grades and a writing assignment.  The Law Review at Harvard does have an affirmative action policy, but this is applied to the induction of new editors.  Obama was elected by his fellow editors.  But good job trying to make people believe that the only reason he was chosen was because of his race.

  7. No.  And Obama also graduated near the top of the class so I don't think affirmative action had anything to do with it.

    Nice try, though.

Membership in the Harvard Law Review is limited to second- and third-year law students who are selected on the basis of their performance on an annual writing competition. Harvard Law School students who are interested in joining the Review must write the competition at the end of their 1L year, even if they plan to take time off during law school or are pursuing a joint degree and plan to spend a year at another Harvard graduate school.

  8. Oh you racists never learn. Anytime a black person has great accomplishments you always seem to devalue it with affirmative action. AA only gets you in the door, it doesn't magically get you good grades or allow you to graduate!

  9. No. He earned the honor. And your question reeks of racism.

  10. Along with every other job he's ever held. Wait, has he actually ever had a job?

    McCain/Palin '08

  11. Really? He was top of his class...that couldn't have had anything to do with it?

  12. No.  The other students select the editor...why would they care about affirmative action? Be for real.  The person who gets Editor can write their own ticket after law school.

  13. Um do you think the Harvard Law Review is a school? LOL I'm kind of getting that from your question.

    If so, it's not.

  14. Affirmative Action doesn't help you graduate Magna cume* Laude from Harvard, so I think Obama might actually have something to offer.

    Kind of ignorant question.

  15. The fact that he was actually elected President of the Harvard Law Review pretty much squashes that theory. If he was just some fringe member, perhaps, but to be elected President of the publication I think demonstrates his his high standing within the organization.
