Democrat ticket:

OBAMA - Zero experience, even Biden said as much.

BIDEN - 40 years on Washington represents 'change'?

Republican ticket:

McCAIN - Decorated war vet, POW, leader.

PALIN - Governor, woman VP

Someone tell me the contest that remains? If this wasnt the single most destructive political torpedo ever used to completely sink an opponent then I dont know what is!

Wave bye-bye Democrats!

  1. What? Sarah Palin is younger than Obama and even less experienced than he is on foreign policy! At least Obama has been in the Washington scene and out of the country on a few occasions. Palin probably hasn't been anywhere outside the United States besides Canada due to Alaska's geography. Biden's going to rip her to shreds during the vice presidential debate!

However, to a certain degree, I am pleased that McCain picked Palin because she's going to do his campaign more harm than good. Palin is more of the final nail to the McCain Campaign coffin because in some matters she makes Obama look like an expert. McCain's VP pick appears as an act of great desperation or stupidy to attract Clinton supporters and make McCain look like he's concerned about women's issues, which he isn't. How else can Obama lose this election unless it's rigged?

The joke is on you, Republicans! McCain's Palin pick makes the possibility of Obama winning this election more of a reality on top of the last eight years of the terrible Bush Administration I don't want to go back to.

  2. Yes, she is everything that Obama and Biden are not.  She fights for our rights and she doesn't care what party people are in, if they are wrong, she will call them on it.  She is tough, and thinks of the people first.

I am so proud to be a Republicasn!

Has been in Govt since he was 29 years old.In 1969, Biden began practicing law in Wilmington, Delaware, and was soon elected to the New Castle County, County Council, where he served from 1970 to 1972.[5]

The 1972 U.S. Senate election presented Biden with a unique opportunity. Popular Republican incumbent Senator J. Caleb Boggs was considering retirement, which would likely have left U.S. Representative Pete du Pont and Wilmington Mayor Harry G. Haskell, Jr. in a divisive primary fight. To avoid that, U.S. President Richard M. Nixon was invited to a meeting to convince Boggs to run again with full Republican support. Boggs ran, but Biden eventually won in an upset.[10]

Biden took office on January 3, 1973, at age 30, the minimum age to become a U.S. Senator; he became the fifth-youngest senator in U.S. history.[11] In 1974, then-freshman Senator Biden was named one of the 200 Faces for the Future by Time magazine.[12]

Biden has since won additional terms easily, usually with about 60 percent of the vote.

He is now the longest-serving U.S. Senator in Delaware history. He is running for re-election as senator in 2008. In 2007, Biden reported that he "garnered $67 million worth of  (

    BARACK OBAMA

A graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he served as president of the Harvard Law Review, Obama worked as a community organizer and practiced as a civil rights attorney before serving in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004. He taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004. Following an unsuccessful bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2000, he announced his campaign for the U.S. Senate in January 2003. After a primary victory in March 2004, Obama delivered the keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in July 2004. He was elected to the Senate in November 2004 with 70% of the vote.

As a member of the Democratic minority in the 109th Congress, he helped create legislation to control conventional weapons and to promote greater public accountability in the use of federal funds. He also made official trips to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. During the 110th Congress, he helped create legislation regarding lobbying and electoral fraud, climate change, nuclear terrorism, and care for returned U.S. military personnel. After announcing his presidential campaign in February 2007, Obama emphasized withdrawing American troops from Iraq, energy independence, decreasing the influence of lobbyists, and promoting universal health care as top national priorities.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obam...

  4. I think they see the writing on the wall the only way McCain could have lost was picking Joe Lieberman. this country by a recent survey is 39% liberal and 61% conservative  the democrats keep deluding themselves that this country is liberal the one president that won for them in the last couple of decades was Bill Clinton and he had to lie and say he was a moderate.

  5. LOL keep dreaming....mccain just handed the presidency to obama by picking palin

  6. Palin was a utterly stupid pick.  McCain has much to choose from yet he went with one of the worst choices he could have made.  My thinking is McCain will not live out a four year term.  She is going to be our President?  PLEASE!  This woman makes it completely impossible for me to vote for McCain even if I wanted to do so.

McCain should have went Romney, or even Lieberman for that matter, before he did this.  The man is a moron.

This reminds me of when Bush tried to put up his own personal lawyer for Supreme Court justice.   Beyond foolish in both counts.

Democrats are ok and not going anywhere but to the White House....the Republicans however....going home unemployed to some really pissed off constituents.  McCain blew this one BIG time.  He deserves to lose.
