Was she the only one who actually cared about the common folk and actually gave back and not just took from the people.

  1. no, she's not the only one...look at her sons =) I think they are both very grounded & careing.

  2. i think she was the most real.  most of them are so fake.  poor diana had real feelings, had real relationships with people, and made real mistakes - how could anyone not love her?

  3. No. She was clever and manipulative. She played the British media like an antique fiddle.

  4. Diana was not little miss goody two shoes. She was not the only one who cares. If she hadn't of married into the royal family-she would not of been the peoples princess and I doubt she would of been so caring. She is gone -let her rest in peace.

  5. Diana was not a good thing for the British Monarchy. She was brilliant for herself. She did nothing to promote the Royal Family and was most derogatory to the institution on all occasions, especially after she left it .

  6. I honestly can't see anything good about the Royal Family

Look at the next generation - partying, polo, n**i uniforms; all they're going to do is carry on their ancestors money grabbing ways, and live in luxury.

  7. Monty Python was a good thing that came out of the Britian! lol haha yeah she was. Everyone else is either uptight or looks like they got hit by a bus

  8. I think you will find Princess Anne does a h**l of a lot more than Diana ever did, but Anne does it without feeling the need for her every move to be national Television.

  9. yes

  10. She was not the only one to actually care and give back but she just did it in the most loving and public way. She was blessed with a great charisma about her and was very able to get in touch with the very sick and dying. She was a great mom and let others see her vulnerability and that made people love her. She has set the standard for the monarchy in the future and will live on through her sons.

  11. While of course Diana was very visible in terms of her charitable efforts, she is not the only one.  There is much positive to be said for the altruism for some of the other major royals, too.

For many years, Princess Anne was considered one of the hardest working royals. The relationship between her and Diana was quite strained...and at times it seemed as if they were competing to see who could do the most charity work.  In point of fact, The Princess Royal actually oversaw more charities than Diana did.

Unlike Diana, who was known to charm and sometimes curry favor with the press, Anne is an extremely private person. She is very  matter of fact, to the point, and doesn't  suffer fools gladly.  She once famously told a reporter to "Naff off" because he was getting in her way at one of her equestrian events.

Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother also did her part in caring about the common folk, too...especially during both the 1st and 2d world wars.

Charles for all his morally questionable stuff with Camilla, is no slouch when it comes to the charity work, either. He's big on environmental causes. His motto translates to "I serve."

Both of Diana's sons, William and Henry were raised to be charity and civic minded, too.

There are several other minor royals like Prince Michael of Kent who are known to be charitably minded, too.

  12. I Think that she was definitly the most famous of the royal family and forever changed how they deal with the public....But look at Her sons Will and Harry i think that her legacy lives on in them (sure they like to go out but really what person in their early 20's never went out with their friends to have fun, after all they are only human.) But just like their mother the good they do out ways the bad incredibly and because of them i think that her legacy will live on for many generations more.

  13. Why is it that people forget about the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, which are given out throughout the Commonwealth countries?

And Prince Charles established the Prince's Trust which has helped hundreds of young people over the years  to continue their education and establish themselves in business.

  14. Unfortunately yes. But now she's gone there's nothing good left.
