  1. To my knowledge yes, but she may not be the last. I could just imagine Prince William and/or Prince Harry marrying an American. I mean they seem to be open to European descedant-African born women (Jecca and Chelsy), I could imagine they are open to other nationalities. And I've read a quote from Prince William that he "quite likes American girls" :)

  2. no, Princess Grace

  3. Wallis Simpson (Her Grace The Duchess of Windsor) from Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Married Edward VIII of the United Kingdom, HRH The Duke of Windsor in 1937.

Grace Kelly (Her Serene Highness The Princess of Monaco) from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Married His Serene Highness The Sovereign Prince of Monaco in 1956.

Lisa Halaby (Queen Noor of Jordon) from Washington, D.C. Married King Hussein of Jordan in 1978.

  4. What about Princess Grace???

  5. Princess Grace did not become Queen Consort as her husband was not a King. Yes, Queen Noor is the first American born Queen Consort.

  6. Another American girl, Hope Cook, married the King of Sikkim (a tiny Himalayan country now part of India) in 1963, when the future Queen Noor was only eleven or twelve.  Grace Kelly became Princess Grace of Monaco in 1956, but she was not a queen.
