Was Queen Victoria bad?

Well, I have a project due in a few weeks, and I am researching both the bad and the good things about Queen Victoria. I can see the good things about her and her reign, but I can't find anything bad about her. It'd be greatly appreciated if someone would lend some knowledge on this matter. Resources are wonderful, and preferred, as well. =]

Queen Victoria seemed to be swayed by emotion and was reclusive in her grief over the death of her husband Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Duke in Saxony, later titled the Prince Consort. A republican movement developed in the United Kingdom because of the literal absence of the Queen, also known as the Widow of Windsor, due to her seclusion.

Queen Victoria was also renowned for her interference among her descendants, particularly when a baby was born. The Queen was insistent on approving names, matters of education and so on and would essentially smother the new parents (whether those were her children or grandchildren). One thing worth note is that she wished for her descendants to all either have "Albert" or "Victoria" among their given names, a wish which was obviously not followed (at least not for everyone).

Bad is all about perspective... In this day and age, we might see the stuffy, high morals of the Victorian age as bad. Most of the negativity around Victoria surrounds her popularity which rose to heights and fell to pits a few times during her self-imposed seclusion. Of course, as mentioned earlier, there is also the overbearing, overwhelming presence she had at times among her family. She was very much the queen of her realm and empress of her empire... But also queen of her family.
