True, that he is a good locker room guy, but his play is not worth that much money.

  1. he is not worth any money in my mind

he just ruined a potential all star coming to the warriors

  2. i think magettes was even worse

  3. hes definately not worth the money

  4. I guess the Warriors think Roni is there missing link to a title!!

    Why else over-pay so much?

  5. I don't think he is worth the money the Ws paid him, but they needed some inside toughness and rebounding.  Like you said, he is a good guy, and will probably be a fan favorite.  Mullin has a history of overpaying role players. Hopefully, in a couple of years, it won't seem so bad.

I was cool with letting Baron walk.  But after watching them spend $14/yr on Maggette and Turiaf, I would have preferred they had given the money to Diddy.

  6. He's not, but the Warriors desperately need someone with size, they have the money to spend and they're spending it like there's no tomorrow.  Arguably they've overpaid for Turiaf and Maggette, and they'll probably overpay Biedrins and Ellis too.  The Warriors are still kind of reeling from Baron's departure so they're just kind of throwing money at whoever they can get.  Turiaf is probably not worth $4.25 million a year but he is something that the Warriors could use on their bench.  We'll see how they spend their remaining money on Ellis and Biedrins.

  7. Absolutely not. He's an overrated towel waver and cheerleader.

  8. Absolutely not

  9. true he is not worth 17 mill, maybe 13 at most but this is a guy the warriors dont have a need desperately. guys like turiaf and landry and milsap always kill the warriors with their hustle. it would be great to add some bulk in the frontcourt so all our big men are skinny. high energy, good locker room presence, good character guy. overpaid, but we had to make sure LA wouldnt match.
