Was Sarah Palin ever in the Alaska Independence Party?

I think its lib bs.. but here it is.. apparently it is a secessionist movement.. anyone know for sure? let me know..

  4. She was, however there are claims that she has never had any conversation about actually seceding... which is completely BS when it's the INDEPENDENCE party and obviously that was the goal of the party.
