Was Sarah Palin ever in the Alaska Independence Party?

So what if she was? I don't get this question. So she was in a party that though Alaska should secede. So?

She was, however there are claims that she has never had any conversation about actually seceding... which is completely BS when it's the INDEPENDENCE party and obviously that was the goal of the party.
