  1. Nope...Scottie gets recognition for what he did with MJ...

The most underrated of all time is hands down,

    ELGIN BAYLOR

  2. Yes.

  3. Yeah, no one ever talks about Pippen now, but at the time, I think he was recognized as a key part of the team. But as the years pass since that Bulls team, people forget about the team and just remember MJ.

  4. No you MORON, he played with the most OVER-HYPED player in history!

Without Pippen, Michael Jordan is a LOSER (bald-headed Dominique Wilkins)! LMFAO!!!

  5. Yeah, I think a lot of people underrate him.  But, I think that most people who had the opportunity to watch him play and understand basketball realize how great he was.  Even when Jordan "retired" to pursue baseball (what the F), Pippen kept the Bulls competitive.

  6. Pippen combined very good offense with even better defense, and those types of players tend to be underrated.  I think most knowledgable basketball fans appreciate what Pippen did and how valuable he was for those great Bulls teams.

  7. jordan ouldnt have won titles w/o pippen like everybody else

shaq couldnt win without kobe or wade

    bird w/o mchale, parish

    magic w/o kareem, worthy

    duncan w/o ginobi, parker

ya cant win a championship by urself. .thats what lechoke tried to do and he couldnt do it.. pass the ball to ur teamates next time lebrick!!

  8. let's see. MJ had 0's accross the board before Pippen came. 0 titles, 0 mvp's, 0, 0, 0. I think Pippen was more important to the Bulls than MJ. Jordan got to the playoffs with pippen in the early years, but didn't do any damage. pippen got to the playoffs and within one game of the eastern conference finals by himself. Now all you people will say "MJ had to play against Larry Bird in the early years". If he is the greatest, shouldn't he beat the greatest? When MJ went to the Wizards he was trying to get them to the playoffs. Didn't happen. Pippen took the Blazers to within one game of the Finals. Pippen was more important to the Bulls than MJ.

see, look at the thumbs down. the only people that answered this are people that are madly in love with jordan and think it's against the law to state the obvious. It is fact that he didn't win anything without pippen. It is fact Pippen went farther in the playoffs without Jordan than Jordan did without pippen. Pretty much everything I said is fact, not my opinions. everyone on here is so ignorant and don't know anything about anything

  9. True but i don't think of all time i probably think at that time. He was a big reason for those championships.

  10. no he actually got a LOT of credit for their success (and a nice big contract from Portland to validate that)...I'd probably say Dennis Johnson who was ALWAYS clutch when the C's needed him the most...

  11. Playing next to MJ could make you underrated but MJ would not of won without Pippen.

  12. think of it like this

pippen was to jordan what kobe was to shaq

  13. W/out Pippen,.Jordan would not have won the NBA finals. He is taken for granted sometimes and I think it is wrong. He was a key part in the Bulls 'chips.
