  1. Hansen was never in the WWF/E.

EDIT: He wrestled in the World Wide Wrestling Federation in the late 1970s, and achieved his first amount of infamy there by breaking Bruno Sammartino's neck; it was from this incident that both Hansen and promoters claimed enormous power for his Lariat move, although what had caused Bruno's broken neck was actually a botched bodyslam.

He is best known for his stiffness, which he attributes to poor eyesight, as he is nearly blind without glasses; as a result, in order to avoid his work from appearing too fake, he overcompensated with stiff strikes.

Bah! Sry, just looked it up in Wikopedia.  He did wrestle in WWWF.

  2. Stan "The Lariat" Hansen was never in the WWE.  Just the AWA, Japan Pro Wrestling, the NWA/WCW.  He only appeared at one WWF event back in the early 80's as a stand in when WWF and Japan Pro Wrestling had a dual event together.

  3. Stan Hansen was not.  He was in WCW though.  Man, what a wrestler.  His vision's bad, so instead of retiring, he just hits people harder, just in case he misses his mark and it looks fake...awesome haha.

I think Stan's HOF worthy, but I question if he'd go.  To my knowledge, he's not even retired yet.  Last I saw him, he was still stiffing people in Japan with that awesome LARIATOOOOOOOO!, and retirement seems to be a necessity for the HoF.  I also don't think he'd be that interested in being inducted into the WWE's Hall of Fame.

  4. Yes, he was in WWWF/WWF during 70's or 80's for a short time, so he won't be in the WWE Hall of Fame.

    He's a legend.

  5. Yes, back in the wwwf days. He was credited with breaking Bruno Sammartinos neck.
