Was There A Martial Arts Tournament in the Olympics?

  1. In addition to all of the above, there was the World Wushu Tournament. While it is not yet an official Olympic sport, the tournament ran concurrent to the Olympics as it is being considered for future inclusion. You can learn more here:

    also one could class javelin. possibly discus too.

  3. Yes, every Olympics features:

    Wrestling

    Tae Kwon Do

    and Judo.

    Tae Kwon Do and Judo feature both men's and womens divisions.

    There was a Judo tournament.

    There was a Tae Kwon Do tournament.

    There were also Greco Roman Wrestling, regular wrestling and boxing.  

    The Judo and the TKD have both mens and womens divisions, and multiple weight classes.

  5. yea! go to NBColympics.com and watch Judo, Taekwondo, Boxing and wrestling. If you do look at the taekwondo vids, look out for Su Li-Wen. Shes probably the best athlete and fighter in the world!
