Dilfer didn't win the Super Bowl he was in.  Dilfer's job was not to lose the game and that is it.  To call Trent Dilfer a Super Bowl winner is somewhat misleading.  

Baltimore really didn't have much in the way of offense that year, either.  Just one helluva defense.

Marino would've been amazing with that Ravens "D."  

I would take Dan Marino now over Trent Dilfer in his prime.

i love this question. of course marino was the much better qb, but to everyone standards of great qb's, a superbowl is the only thing that matters. so to all the idiots who fail to realize that a superbowl is a team win, i guess you could say dilfer is better. marino just had records for all important stats and set the bar for every qb to follow. but i guess thats still not as good as a superbowl ring. so to a rational mind, marino was better and will always be in the top 3 of greatest. but to the idiots who think someone like brady is one of the greatest because his team won 3 superbowls while he takes the credit because hes the face, don't truly understand what a team sport football is. so in an idiot mind, brady, dilfer, brad johnson, eli manning, kurt warner, mark pypien, jim mcmahon and all those other qbs that played on a team that won a superbowl are better and will always be better than a legend like marino.

no Dilfer was never a QB who you feared to play. Marino=a big lead was never safe, he could pass that ball like a laser
