Wolves were yesterday fined £25,000 for selecting a weakened team to face Manchester United earlier in the season, was that fair?

No. Plenty of other teams have fielded weakened sides in the Premier League before, yet no action was taken. Manchester United sent out a weakened side at Hull on the final day of last season in preparation for the Champions League final and they weren’t fined, and neither were Liverpool when they acted similarly in matches against Portsmouth and Fulham in 2006/07. Wolves should not have been fined.
