  1. NEVER HAVE AND NEVER WILL.

I respect what he has done below the welterweight division. He hasn't fought Cotto, Margarito, or Mosley, three of the best welterweights.

  2. still a fan but he is a showoff and can erk my nerves

  3. I have always hated that little punk! Watching De la Hoya/Mayweather 24/7, I wanted to leap through the screen and slap him and 50 Cent both around!

  4. I'm reporting The Guru to Yahoo for stealing my exact thoughts. lol - I'm just kidding Guru.... thumbs up, because that's exactly how I feel.

  5. love him or hate him you all want to see him fight, and he is the best pound for pound boxer in the world. And I would love to see him fight miguel cotto but he wants big bucks fight thats why he's fighting oscar in September but I think he would eventually fight cotto

  6. I must admit when a heard about this wrestling nonsense I felt like Floyd didn't respect his position in the sport of Boxing.....

Even though wrestling is fake, you can get badly injured performing the stunts.....................................

Floyd says he's one of the greatest if not the greatest to ever lace em' up- pulling risky wrestling stunts is certainly not the way to prove it!........................................

And yes I believe Floyd is too concerned with money, when he should be trying to silence all critics by fighting the toughest opponent-Cotto!............................

I think Floyd's strategy is to let the lesser named welters like Cotto, Margarito,  Mosely or Judah take matches with each other and see which one emerges as best and then fight that guy........................................

Floyd isn't afraid of those guys, and whomever emerges as the best out of those other welters....................................

Floyd will probably fight them in the spring of next year.

But I feel the same way I'm not as big a Floyd fan as I used to be.

  7. I have never been his fan, because he thinks he is the king of the world...and like his own father said...he really needs to get his butt kicked...

Maybe this way he learns to be a little less conceited, and besides he is afraid of changing division...a good boxer should prove himself in any division possible for him to reach....

and like they say in my country.."El que es perico donde quiera es verde"..../ " Who is a Parrot is green anywhere"

  8. I was a big fan when he was in smaller weight classes (130/135). Back then for some reason people weren't convinced about how good he was. Many people picked Corrales (some even favored Manfredy ) to beat him which I thought was absurd.

Now he's a welterweight and fights like he scared. He has become boring. I really don't like him now but I would still rate him p4p #1.

And what's with this break down bawling thing after every match now? Makes me sick.

  9. Be real now if you don,t like the guy that's one thing but to say he,s not the best is another thing. Sure I want to see him fight every one but he fights the fights that make him the most money with the least amount of rise that,s why he,s fighting Oscar Dela Hoya no risk lots of money. Not only is FMM a great fighter he is a great business man long live the champ.

  10. i agree with the other answerers. im one who has never really been a fan of mayweather but think he probably is the best out there today.unfortuately he is really letting his superstar status go to his head and has the luxary of picking and choosing what he does. its just most boxing fans think boxing champions should stay busy boxing ,giving us good fights and not dancing with the stars or doing some wrestling whatever.

  11. Just the opposite, actually.  Once I learned to compartmentalize the "inside the ring" Floyd and the "outside the ring" Floyd, I became quite an admirer.  He's one cool cat in the ring.  Even against Judah when a near riot broke out, Floyd was the calmest dude in the ring.  Inside the ring, he is a master boxer.  I don't particularly care if he proves anything to anyone, I just like seeing boxing performed as an art.
