  1. i think there was pressure on PCB

  2. It appears something has happened behind the curtain to clear way for Aktar to play for IPL as slifting the ban for one month appears to be tailor made for the situation.  If the status-quo was to be maintained, the ban should have been withdrzwn till the appeal is decided and not just for one month.

  3. Very much possible. This IPL has been arranged to earn money not to do anything with development of cricket. and when money becomes important anything is possible specially with current set of governing body of cricket in India and Pakistan.

    And who doesnt want money???????????

  4. In 20-20 the strongest teams are in the bottom and a team like rajasthan who are under dogs at the beginning are the favorites and teams with big guns are at the bottom of the table.

KKR have to get their act right in T20 and yes our bowling will be strengthened by s****.but it does not mean that every one is applying pressure to get Shoib.

If big guns could have won the games RCB,DC,KKR would have topped the tables.

  5. SRK and his team mates are not so big to pressurise PCB/ BCCI to allow shoaib to play IPL. They surely might have requested PCB as well as BCCI for the same. Even after the ban lift on shoaib BCCI asked him to submit the NOC from PCB which indicates they were in no pressure from anyone.

  6. something must have happened behind the curtains otherwise s****.would have not been cleared by the PCB and the BCCI for a month.

  7. I wouldn't say there were "forced" but I agree there was a lot influence going on. Akhtar was quoted saying "SRK has always been by my side" which suggests SRK was lobbying quite heavily for him - how far or how much pressure SRK exerted is anyones guess but it does seem likely that he played a role.

  8. I agree with Vakaiyl. There is something that happened.

Earlier, PCB had ruled that he could play IPL, yet, BCCI did not allow it.

SRK requested Lalit Modi, and got a negative answer.

We better concentrate on matches only and leave all these gossips to gossip columns. After all there is no end to them and all IPL wants is entertainment. That Shoaib will definitely provide.
