I just saw that movie and found it to be one of the most epic movies i've ever seen.

Idk, maybe it's coz I study English n i pick up on the structural aspects, it was done brilliantly.

Anyway, did anybody else think it was kinda dramatic?

  1. Brilliant movie, that was!

  2. I thought it was so over the top as top be funny, funny, funny

  3. Scarface is a classic. any film buff will tell you that you must have this in your collection. i agree. Al Pacino was great and overall one of my favorite films as well.

Cuban Link wrote a really great script for the sequel called "Son of Tony" but he doesn't have exclusive rights to Scarface so it will not come out. not anytime soon at least.

  4. I wish I could go back and watch it again for the first time. Yes, it was DePalma's best film and it's probably going to go down in history as the best "gangster" flick of all time. Tony Montana is written brilliantly. He's a pure sociopath who only sees the world through is own eyes and, like a real sociopath, has this guardian complex that he uses to justify his evil (example: his sister and killing the hit man instead of the kids). I was just a teen when I saw it and I remember sitting through all 3 hours or so with my mouth hanging open. "Moving" is a justifiable description.

  5. I wouldn't say I was exactly "moved" by it, but it's an absolutely brilliant film, and I love it.  To call it "kinda dramatic" might be the understatement of the month, though.

  6. I think it shows how important it is to leave our borders open for wonderful cockaroaches like Tony Montana

  7. Scarface is my favorite movie! I think its great and Al Pacino did such a good job in it!
