Was anybody else uncomfortable with CMT playing the movie "Driving Miss Daisy"?

It just struck me as odd for Country Music Television to choose that movie as one they want to play.

it struck me as weird. Its like how Tv land which is a classic rerun channel chooses shows like scrubs, foreman, and just shoot me as classics. I just don't get it.

When I was flipping channels, I paused to watch the movie for a few moments.  Then I realized it was on CMT.  I did find that strange.  Of course, I find many of their programming choices to be off the wall.  I'm not really sure what they're saying about their viewership by showing multiple episodes of 'Nanny 911' throughout the week.

i dont understand y they play movies anyway... its MUSIC station.  they are selling out just like MTV did.. to bad for them
