As far as I could tell he wasn't "breaking the law". And even if he was, he certainly wasn't resisting arrest. So there was no reason to grab him by the throat. The Democrats just didn't want anyone to see that they are doing all the things they keep criticizing everyone else for.

You break the law, you get arrested, the exception would be if your name is bush.
