  1. I had three close friends in High School and was not into any clubs or sports - I was a loner!!!  I also had a skin condition which made me unpopular with the guys and teased a lot too. High School *ucked for me!!!  And I hated it. Those were the hardest and worst years of my life !!!

However, today, life is good and I am way over High School. I am a "normal", happy, contributing part of society. I have a good job as a Purchasing Manager, I am married and have a well-adjusted 16 year-old son that I am very proud of, I have a house and a nice car - all the things a typical adult has and does - I have and do. I am living the good life and am happy.

Whatever happens in High School is only temporary and it is up to you to use it to build character in yourself so that once you are out you will survive and thrive as an adult.

Just a side note - High School was soooo bad for me that I doubled up on my classes and graduated a year early so I could move on with my life and on to college (which was much better for me and where my social life began because the people were more mature and accepting of me).

  2. I only had a few close friends in high school and other than that, tended to keep to myself more. Honestly, as hard as that was at times, I think it's made me into a more empathetic individual who cares about other people. I wouldn't trade that for anything. Now, I work at a middle school with a team of awesome individuals who accept you for who you are, flaws and all. Just hold your head up high and know you will come through this stronger for the experience.

  3. people like you tend to do better when let loose in the real world
