Was anyone else touched when they saw George HW Bush at the RNC last night?

I got a little teary eyed. He's aged quite a bit and it made me sad for some reason. Such a good family, I don't care what anyone says about the Bush's.

I have never voted for anyone named Bush for anything, and I am d**n proud to say it.

Bush Sr. who claims Texas but has never lived here.

It makes me feel bad to see him blamed for everything.Hello,what about congress?Bush has done wrong things,but everything is not his fault.GOD-bless him and his family.

you have to excuse some of the other posters, they don't realize we've had more than on president in this country.

Barbara Bush was one of the best 1st ladies we have ever had in this country. She started the literacy campaigns when nobody else cared. She did the grunt work herself.

Granted I didn't get teary eyed seeing them, I do think they deserve a lot more respect then they have received.

I cried too. I thought about when Neale Bush was caught in a savings & loan scandal & I thought "how are they going to cover this up". Then we had the gulf war. It was covered up so quick & people have suffered from what he has done so I cry for the innocent people.

I was touched to see George and Barbara there. They are a great family and he was an excellent president.

Yes I felt the same way. And Barbara....as sharp as a tack! She hasn't changed. They are an example of a great American family.

Are you kidding me?   Bush needs to most likely be tried as a war criminal.

No I wasn't touched.  This rich oil guy will retire to a life of luxury.

Unlike the thousands who will not be able to, because they lost their lives looking for WMDs.
