  1. Hats off to him...awesome drive for a Force India F1 Car.  However, he does have a reputation for being a really good driver in the rain.

"Sutil's reputation as a strong wet weather driver was cemented by his performance in a wet free practice at Monaco in 2007, when he set the fastest time of all in a Spyker.

He was also eighth fastest in the rain affected Saturday morning free practice session and had showed during the race that he could run easily in the points on pace alone."

  2. I was pleasantly surprised when both Lewis and Fernando only sustained wheel damage when brushing the wall... the rear suspension really was sturdy... Alonso had a broken hub and Lewis must've just knocked the tyre off the rim...

But Red Bull's cars still look fragile....

  3. What a disaster and it is amazing that Lewis Hamilton won the race after his accident/blow out. A question has to raised about the Monaco circuit - is it really a suitable to be used as a race track even though it must be the most exciting track on the calendar?

  4. I was amazed by how many cars still remained on the field, even though most were lapped! It was very entertaining, but if u're a fan of Kimi or Fernando, this was a big disappointment! This was their chance to really shine and it didn't work out!

  5. I was surprised at pretty much everything that happened.  Everything except for Massa making a mistake in the rain.

  6. yeah, all those knocks and bumps must have cost a small fortune in spare parts, but hey they were back out racing again. The shape of things to come I hope

  7. it was like that barriers had a magnet and attracted all and sundry.. worst crash (besides kimi-sutil which had higher implications) was rosberg..

  8. yeah, it was shocking i thought less would have finished due to the weather without traction control i fort there would be like 8finishes in the rain

  9. Very Un-Monaco! A wet race and low attrition? Never!

Alonso and Raikonnen had the luckiest races of their lives. by rights, their races were run on more than one occasion, call it the luck of the World Champ eh?
