Yesterday me and a friend were walking our friend home. After we had dropped her off we walked round the corner to find a drunk middle aged man. He was dressed in a buissness suit and must of been between 45 - 50. He saw us. Stopped. Turned around and waited for us. As i approached him he grabbed me and put me in a headlock threatening to "cut me". I eventually pushed him away walked off and called the police. I was thinking of smashing his face in at the time. However im only 16 and this bloke was a bit bigger then I, also i didn't know if he was armed or not. The police couldn't do much as he went home somewhere in a row of houses. I'm thinking of going back to those houses with some mates to threaten him for revenge. I have a big issue with getting revenge. Would this be a stupid idea?

  1. yes, it would. If you find him, give that information to the police and then insist on a prosecution.  If you take the law into your own hands you are exposing yourself to prosecution and possibly worse if he has friends.

  2. let the air out of his cars tires, slash them if you want.

  3. i can certainly understand why you would want revenge; that's a horrible & scary thing to have happen, & it's really frustrating that the police couldn't do anything. however, for your own safety, i would advise against it. like you said, he could have a weapon - how do you know that he won't hurt or kill you before you try to hurt him? also, if you break into his house or threaten or hurt him, you will also be charged with crimes. i think the best you can hope for is some kind of follow-up with the police.

(this probably isn't the answer you wanted, but believe me when i say that i am incredibly sorry this happened to you!)

  4. Time for action was when the incident occurred but now it is after the fact. So, you could put yourself in jeopardy for exacting any kind of revenge. Find out who he is and take a warrant.

  5. Yes, this is a stupid idea. Just let it be.

  6. I go with the second answer.Try and find him and get him prosecuted. If he was suited up maybe he has a decent job or family and chances are he will not relish the shame of this coming out.

  7. why didn't you slap his bollocks off?

  8. Stupid just does not cover it!!

What attracts you to prison and a criminal record that would make employment difficult and make your life so much worse?!!

Attacking this man would put him in the position to laugh at you for the rest of your life!!!
