I liked Bush the first term but then like all second term presidents they know they cannot run again so they take full advantage of it and stick it to us. I could not vote for him in the last election. I believe he is the one man wrecking ball of the Republican Party. The only reason McCain will win is the alternative is Obominable.

His first term I thought he did a good job, somewhere after he was re-elected he seemed to be be moving to the left and playing to the liberals.

Though when you consider what he has been through perhaps he was just trying to get something accomplished in his second term. Only God knows what he was trying to do.

Adequate, given the situation.  Those he ran against could not and would not have done as good a job.  The economy?  Look who signed NAFTA and raised interest rates.  He sent all of those jobs over seas and never thought twice about retraining all of those who would soon lose their jobs.  Raised the interest rate from 21% allowed by law to 30%, paving the way for Variable Interest Rate Mortgage loans with balloon payments and what have you...  Can you say "unemployment" and "foreclosure?"  Thank you Bill Clinton!  The only thing missing then, is personal responsibility.

I don't agree with his views on many subjects, but I agree with him far more than his opponents. I shutter to think what might have been.
