I have to hand it to the Mccain Camp. They ran a brilliant campaign, until now. My ten year old son could have made a better choice. Their Best argument against Obama is now eliminated. Pailin has 1.5 years of experience, and in Alaska of all places! How much governing can you do in Alaska. He also brought his health into spotlight. He is 72 years old, battled cancer 2 times, and he just put a woman with NO foreign policy experience at all a HEARTBEAT away from the most powerful position in the world. The funny thing is, Mccain didnt even HAVE to go out on a limb. He was even with Obama in the polls. The only benifit he MIGHT get is pulling the remaining 15% of stubborn Hilliary supporters who were gonna support him anyway. How can a campaign with so many brilliant minds make such a HORRIBLE decision. mind boggling. They may have just handed Obama the election. Plus Hurricane Gustav is coming to reign on the Repubs convention. but let us all pray for everyones safety.

  1. Yes, because he has insulted white women by inferring that they will vote for any other woman replacing Hillary Clinton as a presidential candidate, as long as she is a female, qualifications aside.  You go McClain.  You go right to the door on election night because you can't get in.

  2. I agree this equals throwing in the towel. Game over!

Cant wait for her debate with Biden.

  3. So you think that 1.5 years governing a state (they all have the same governing needs regardless of which state you govern) is not enough to be vice president but 5 months voting it the senate is enough to be president?

Does that statement make any sense? A MONTH governing a state is worth years of being in the senate. Why do you think there hasn't been a senator as president in the past 40 years? Hello?

  4. It is possibly the worst pick of all time.  I'm giving you a star for correctly identifying the potential worst political move in history.

  5. Apparently you know next to nothing about Gov. P ailin, she has accomplished more in the 1.5 years than most of our elected have done in two terms, just ask an Alaskan, seeing that she was just re elicted. As for Obama, how many notches does he have to his belt? And he's running for the #1 spot! Is it becuese she is a women, or her youth, maybe, just maybe this is her greatest asset.Becuese she is all of that ,there is room for growth, the eagerness to LEARN,the flexabelity to change and to adapt and more importantly to care what is happening to the country her and her family love. America is on the cusp of change, this pairing may be the one to see our country through and ushering in a better and brighter future.

  6. no i disagree i would have to go with obama making the worst political decision ever. the agent of change chose a washington insider.

  7. It was a really bad decision.

She doesn't even have a law degree...and has governed Alaska which is the most unpopluated state in the country.  Also, her husband works for Big Oil.

  8. McCain's choice of Palin was brilliant!

Obama's race-baiting and false accusations of racism against the Clintons throughout the primary guaranteed this Dem family would never vote for him.

Charges of racism are serious - and Obama intentionally sowed those seeds to win the Black vote.

Obama also mocked Hillary and "brushed her off" the bottom of his shoe - and laughed along with the crowdS - displaying a gang mentality and childishness.

Obama doesn't have the character to be president!

    Dems for McCain/Palin!

  9. NO..

Sarah Palin rocks... She is the only blue collar candidate in the bunch.

  10. Yea that is funny how the only thing the republicans could pound home is the experience of Obama now they bring in the beauty queen with her Idaho education. Believe me when I tell you they will not have her out there giving speeches on issues she all she will be saying is "all i want is world peace."

How do you think those old school republicans feel about this its like a slap in the face... I love it the republicans are just falling apart. It's O.K. just join the thousands whom are switching parties we will welcome you and bring Palin to she is hot.

  11. No, invading Iraq was.

  12. As usual, the mainstream American media has completely missed the real reason for McCain's VP selection. It's so that when McCain sings "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" he can now do so accompanied by a folsetto harmony, just as the Beach Boys did on their original recording. Now that's smart!

  13. This very much a possiblty since Governor Palin in under investigation in Alaska/

  14. if u dumb women vote for mccain just because he chose a woman VP u are to blame for the countrys problems when the neocon warmongers win

  15. idk i think im going to have to disagree with you.

its kinda brillant. what the women did in the 1.5 years of experience is more important to america that anything obama has done. remember she saved tax payers money, and what do the american people love more than anything else saved tax money.  also she gets womens votes, i don't think it will just be hillarys voters either, shes a working mom with 5 kids, i think those working moms who are obama supporters are going to rethink there decision.

  16. I smell sour grapes here. Palin will work out fine. If Palin has 1.5 years experience, that beats the sh*t out of Obama's. four months. He seldom showed up and when he did he did nothing. I believe his major accomplishment is allegedly kicking his drug addiction. Besides she is intelligent while Obama is a dimwit.with a loud mouth

  17. I don't know this woman.  I suspect that she's no better or worse than any of the possible picks that might appeal to the reactionaries that insist that flag waving and cross shaking is a viable national policy.  The point is to fire up the Jesus freaks to come out and vote for a party that WILL outlaw abortion and shove g**s back into the closet.  Meanwhile the real agenda of the GOP's high comand is  to complete a coup d' etat that will forever enshrine the executives of the transnational corporations as the new aristocracy of the Empire of Globilization.  This facisti regime, the marriage of Church, State and Business, is the future of 'our' country should a McCain Regime replace the current Bush Junta.  My bet is that the fix is already in.  The easily hacked voting machines are ready for installation in the black, hispanic, native american and other heavily democratic areas and the photo ID 'poll tax' schemes to disinfranchise our less favored, heavily democratic citizens are already up and running.  Like the last two election, this one may well be stolen as well.  Sometimes the bad guys do win.  Lincoln would weep!
