  1. No, but they supported the war as well.

  2. so are you suggesting that their jobs, pork projects and under the table moneys are more important to them than their country...you surely cant be saying that the democrats in congress would sell out the American people and our soldiers to keep their sets in congress...if that's the case then, if Obama had been in congress at the time...would he  have given up his set in congress to vote against the war...

    always nosnod

  3. Yes. Senators Leahy and Daschle both recieved anthrax in the mail at a time when they and they alone were in a position to stop the passage of the patriot act. Someone REALLY wanted that bill passed.

  4. ok this will be an education.

bush took congresses power when he declared "war on terroists".

no country can put a hit on anyones pres. congress was the ones telling clinton bin laden is "NO THREAT".

when bush declared war, he regained all power of the presidency to call the shots.

clinton didnt buck the system but our troops would never be under peacekeeping u.n. jurisdiction after somalia f.u. thats why they are under u.s. command and hence "commander in chief" not congress.

nope do you know what was referred to as weapons of mass destruction(scuds by u.n. definition). i know scuds exists cause i had a lot of buddies killed in desert storm feb 91.

u.n. did oil for food with kickbacks and let saddam do as he pleased.

we have been hit for 20 years and did nothing(almost nothing)

but when we take charge we are the bad guys. how pathetic is that.

someone should be asking why didnt congress ban earmarks on them bills.

yeah bush passed an expensive bill but if you look at them, congress men and senators had there money in there, katrina for a bridge in alaska.

  5. No. in fact the lady that everyone will be talking about tomorrow voted for many of his actions.

  6. No.  Right or wrong, the American people wanted blood after September 11th.  President Bush, with the approval of Congress, gave us blood and then we condemned him for it.  Had President Bush not engaged the U.S. in warfare against an enemy, any enemy, the American people would have been outraged.  People might not like this answer, but I believe it to be the truth.
