well he is maybe watching his Chase chances circle the drain.   He's still in...by a hair...all it takes is for David Ragan or Clint Bowyer have a better day than he and he might just as well reach up out of the toilet and flush.  

I felt bad for him.  I seriously did.  He did look like he was going to cry when he turned to the other reporter.

That's just how he looks, and yes, he was very upset. After all, he's had tough luck all year. And now an engine blowing up with 5 laps to go...

You were looking at a man that just endured 4+ hours of a very exhausting sport. He was upset, and could not hide his frustration.  Granted that this just makes him human.  A lot of the time he looks unhappy.

I think that he owes his team an apology for disrespecting them. How would you react when the media shoves a microphone in your face before you can collect yourself.  It makes for tabloid news and you all love it, don't you. It sells merchandise and makes money for the networks.
