Was does you ears hurt when your listening to music on you headphones?

when i listen to music with my headphones my ears start to hurt after three hours can someone tell me why???

you are damaging the tiny follicles lining the ear and the ear drum.  This will cause hearing loss later in life (trust me, I've been there....)

Best thing to do is to give your ears a rest, take a break after 20 min. and remove them for a few minutes.  Also, turn down the volume some.  I know its fun to crank it up, but I can tell ya...the hearing loss you eventually develop SUCKS.  I am 32 yrs old and sound like an elderly person always having to ask "what...what did you say??" lol....its really no joke tho.  

Enjoy your music, just do it with balance.  Also, don't forget that car and home stereos can also exceed the decibel limit and damage your hearing.

Turn down the volume man. And three hours and more, you must be trying to destroy your hearing. Go back to listening to the stereo, and keep it down also. If you keep up what your are doing, one day you won't hear anything. You're destroying your ear drums and the sound follicles inside.

it's too loud. The music are composed of waves that can totally damage your ears if you turn it up too loudly.
