Was earth a very crowded place during creation?

Considering only 1 in a thousand species that ever lived is still around , the earth must have been a crowded place during creation?

Our earth took billions of years to develop an environment that would create the potential for the survival of a single cell species.  To create an environment that would provide the survival of species who sort of developed a food chain took 100's of millions of years.  Evolution is an ongoing process, and eventually, our species will become extinct.  I feel sorta sad about that, because I am curious about what will follow.

god was supposed to have created everything "perfect", right?  perfectly suited to its environment, with predators and prey.. everything was part of some "perfect" eco-web...

so if thats true, then how would species die out? they were "perfectly" adapted to their environment, and they had food to eat, etc...

I don't think it was because creation was not an instantaneous event, but something that happened over several billion years. [and is still taking place]

It would appear that 500 million to 10,000,000,000 would be the total number of species "during creation."

Having Adam name the critters would be an issue. "Genesis 2:19-20 "And.. whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. " It's argued by revisionists that  Adam did not really name "every living creature," that it was groups or only certain types of animals. However, for most of Christianity the bible was considered to be literally true. That  " Adam called every living creature."

Interestingly the revisionists require a degree of evolution to take place. "assuming that speciation has been an on-going occurrence since Creation, the eleven thousand vertebrate species in question would have most likely descended from a much smaller number of proto-species."

A variation is that fossils of supposedly extinct animals were simply created to test man's faith: "You don't understand, do you?" he said. Yes exactly, and this is what proves a sudden Creation, an impossibility!

Not only that, but if everything was suddenly Created as we see it now, that would imply that nothing could ever change forms in the future!

Yes but life was very, very small not taking much room at all. They are called single cells.  They tell no tales.  They probably had a smell.  I doubt that the day they became was celebrated with bells. No, no, no they didn't come from......
