  1. yes, all the way down to Crowley's ridge in Arkansas


  2. Yes, most of it was, except for a small unglaciated area near the Mississippi River in NE Iowa, SW Wisconsin, SE Minnesota and NW Illinois.  This area is referred to as a "driftless area".  Read more about it here:
