  1. no they were not otherwise they would have won

  2. justice has been done.they lost..ahmen.

  3. England have forgotten one very important aspect of rugby. How to score a try. They needed one in the last 15 miuntes and were complete clueless about how to go about it. Hopefully they will learn from this that they cant rely on their forwards alone to win the world cup. One try in the three knockout games is pretty disgraceful

  4. Once again the_ridd is the only one with any knowledge about the game. I agree totally with his comment. Thanks mate you saved me thinking.

They keep going on about that non try. What's with that. Obviously didn't see the replay. Therefore I will add - what sore losers!!!!!!!!

  5. On the night they were clearly good enough to put up a good fight - and stop the Boks (prolific try scorers) from scoring any tries.  Secondly they were better than we could have hoped at the beginning of the competition.  So, to answer your question, were they good - yes, were they good enough - not quite, lastly - am I proud - too bl**dy true I am.

  6. yes they were, our boys did us proud.

  7. The English team did us proud,

  8. england wer good enuf if tht try was awarded (it was a try) jonny would have converted it which would hav spurred us on more kicks would have come an we would have won

  9. Here we go just because they lost its bashing time, how typically English i bet the press will gave a field day tomorrow.

A Hero a week ago, a wa"""er tomorrow but you will expect them to front up again for the next competition, wonder what their salaries are compared with the likes of footballers.

  10. EDIT: No we weren't good enough unfortunately, having re-read your question, i think that's a pretty fair analysis.

  11. im proud of our men tonight

  12. They played OK but not a match of the mighty Boks.

  13. A good effort but not good enough to win... obviously!

  14. It was a close contest but S.A. appeared to be in control for the majority of the game. England gave away too many silly penalties and they paid for their misdemeanours. However, I do feel they were unlucky when their try was disallowed.

The best team during the world cup was Argentina.

  15. You can only play the team on the pitch

If you want to be the best you must beat the best which is what we have done

we must all be proud of what the team has achieved

  16. No penetration?!?!?!?!?!

Did you fail to spot Matthew Tait bursting through the defence which led to Mark Cueto coming but an inch away from scoring.

That was the only real break in the game and it was English.

  17. Well you are obviously one of the SA players and therefore able to make such informed comment....so what would we know?

EDIT: it was a good win....well done - enjoy it.

  18. Obviously not

  19. the boks can enjoy their moment. Whatever your well produced assessment may or may not say, SA didnt have it cut out for them, and it could have gone the other way tonight every easily. I'm proud of our boys and proud to be English.
