  1. Yes.

Intelligent, decisive, humble, careful, diplomatic, passionate, assertive, motivated, and knowledgeable.  Bush is many of those, but he is not humble or wise.

  2. Of course not. But in during every election its always about whats wrong with the democrats, not the republicans. WIth gore, he was too arrogant and people didn't want to be reminded of Clinton. With Kerry, he was too arrogant and people questioned his service record. Now with obama, he's too arrogant, inexperienced and he might be an Islamic sleeper cell, who'll destroy america.

Same thing, different Election. We allow Republicans to run the Narrative and we're screwed over every election. When will we learn?

  3. which one ,,???? ready or not  too late now UPDATE THIS JUST IN.....

Mc Cain names BUSH as running mate  JEB that Is!!!!! .

  4. no he wasn't

  5. he sucks

  6. h**l no he wasn't

  7. i dont think a president is ever fully ready to know the full responsiblity.  He was and is a very smart man and his past record shows that, people underestimate how difficult of a job the presidency is, which is why it is so easy for people to say he sucks.

Studying past presidencies success and failures and seeing what they did would be a good start to being ready

  8. so are you trying to use the current president that democrats despise to this day as a logic for the democrat presidential runner obama who is well known for not being ready.

    Doesn't make sense

  9. no he was addicted to cocaine and whiskey

  10. First question George Bush couldn't have been ready for the presidency from day one since he still isn't ready.

The type of person that would be ready from day one is a child with anal retentive parents that push them to no end.

  11. No, his job performance speaks for itself. We could have had a lottery for the position of President and ended up with a more competent president.

  12. dunno but he made some bad decisions.

  13. Yes, except in Florida.

  14. Nobody is ever ready on day one for such a task.

One must surround themselves with people experienced in a multitude

of areas to learn and grow.

    Ingrid

  15. Yeah, I heard he went to President's school... unfortunately, he only got a "C" there, too.  He dropped out near the end due to drinking.

I guess someone who had previous experience as a president... probably of a smaller country, maybe like Jamaica.  Jamaica would be a good training country... everyone down there is too relaxed to cause a fuss when you mess up all major like.

  16. EVILE YES EVILE REPULICAN:" any republican president would begreat in office"

DEMOCRAT: "h**l no never in a million years"

  17. No one is ready.

Republican OR Democrat. They mature in office and do the best they can.

  18. No.

  19. Of course he was. He had a high approval rating at the beggining in the 90% area. The liberals just got mad when the Iraq War took longer than believed (even though they voted for it).

  20. yes

  21. No, he wasn't.

To be ready on day 1 you have to be the sort of person that not only talks nice and has convincing speech and orating skills, but also the kind of person that thinks 1st in the American people and thinks about his own pocket 2nd.

Bush is a warmonger president. Nothing more.

  22. Most - you can't just run on ideas or skate the issues like B.O.

  23. considering he played golf all day everyday fro the first couple of weeks i would say no.

  24. Nope, he was ready since he was born... as have all our presidents been. As McCain was, which is why Obama won't win... nothing against him... he's just not one of the chosen ones.

  25. i think he was ready.

I just don't think that being president was his calling.

i hope that he tried his best.

i wish he hadn't been president.

  26. he's still not ready to lead ...

  27. No.  He wasn't.

That's why our government is the way it is.

    I don't like Bush.

  28. Yes He was. He was a Governor and that takes much more skill to run a state than just being a senator. Plus he also had the family name and was able to get many experienced workers.

  29. No, and he's still not ready to be president.

  30. He's still not ready to be President.  He's a President in title only.

  31. Ford said that it was kind of like parenthood.  You do what you can to get ready but when the day actually arrives, you find yourself completely overwhelmed by how much you realize you don't know.
