Was `granit jack` OK?

it had a fall at cheltenham,last i seen it didnt look good, is the horse ok. thanks

The Yahoo news report says he "died at the scene."  I think it's wierd that they didn't say euthanized... it sounds like he was so badly injured that he just died.  Here's the story: http://sports.yahoo.com/rah/news;_ylt=Ai...

Think I heard that he was 'put to sleep'... not 100% sure.. but if i find out for sure, then i will re-post...

Just to gloat... got the winner, and also had the second at each way... shame.. just missed out on a 33/1 win..

Just heard for sure.... They had to put him down.  Very Sad..

Yes Guys,   Sadly  'Granit Jack'  &  'willyanwoody' were killed due to their bad falls, very very sad for such brave animals.

Hope the Jockeys are ok.
