  1. Of course he was.  My proof: How about his General Theory of Relativity?

    Oh...I get it...you want to know if he had a FORMAL education.  Einstien dropped out of high school when he was 16 and tested into a  technical school in Zurich.  When he graduated, he tried to find a job as a professor, but was unable to.
