i've go to a couple restaurants where the waitress, on picking up the check and money, asks, 'do you need change?' i told the last one, after addressing her as a moron that unless i paid with exact change, of course i want my change back. i should add that i'm a good tipper and former food service worker, both as waiter and cook. anyway, the moron started crying and the manager told me i was wrong, at which point i took him outside and slammed his empty head onto the hood of a '98 Geo, which dented it slightly.

  1. I hate that question! "Do you need change?" That is an automatic tip decreaser in my mind... The right thing to say is "I'll be right back with your change"

Now to answer your question, yes I think you were mean to the waitress. There's no need for name calling. That just makes you look like the moron.

  2. yes, even if if she was a moron u should just go with it. And dont kill anyone!!!

  3. Yes, you were mean. Many people just figure in the tip when paying. so, if the bill is 17.50, you put a twenty. Then, just say that you don't need the change back.

  4. wow and you were a waitress yourself

threat people with the way you want to be threated

even if she was slow bare with her and understand her

she is frustrated because she is only making less than 3 dollars and hour and depending on that tip

so help her instead of crushing her

  5. no, but you were mean to the '98 Geo

  6. If you were that waitress, would you like to be called a moron?

    I dont think so.

  7. You wrong in denting the Geo and you should pay the owner any expense incurred to their vehicle.

  8. i woulda wipped it out and pissed on u at the table, u wench!

  9. It is people like you that make it hard for people that work in food service. They have to follow the guidelines of their employer, you worked in food service, you know the rules to the game. You were really mean.

  10. Maybe she is a moron for allowing herself to be upset by an obvious jerk of an customer!

  11. Well if she was crying, maybe you were mean to her but you didn't know. She might be really sensitive. But maybe next time, don't call anyone any names..., they might cry also. XD
